In association with Brownswood Music and Pernod Ricard, to celebrate the launch of Havana Cultura Mix - The Soundclash! album, Mistral Productions oversaw the event coverage photography and video work for the London launch party in October.
With a showing of the documentary filmed out in Cuba as the album was being made, live performances from Cuban talent Dayme, and DJ sets from three of the competition winning producers alongside Executive Producers on the project, Gilles Peterson and DJ Simbad, there was plenty to celebrate on this night of celebration!
Vocalist Dayme, who was flown over from Cuba especially for the event, also managed to find some time to swing by our Brownswood Basement Studios to record a live performance of her collaboration with Russian producer Rumskaya, 'U Knew Before', from the Havana Cultura album!
We also got some exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from Dayme recording her debut studio album whilst in London, so keep an eye out for the video and the album dropping early next year.
